DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - July 14, 2009) - Today, DC Brands International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ DCBR ]) is extremely proud to announce that they have signed a distribution agreement with DPI Specialty Foods of Henderson, Colorado. Distribution Plus, Inc. (DPI) distributes specialty food products to major accounts nationwide. DC Brands' President and CEO Richard Pearce said, "This has been in the works for a few months. It takes a lot of time to get through all of the necessary paperwork and requirements to become an approved vendor for an A list distributor the size and scope of DPI."

Pearce continues, "DPI is one of the largest specialty food distributors in the US, providing nationwide distribution to tens of thousands of both chain and independent grocery stores. For the most part, when it comes to the grocery business, DPI is one of the approved and preferred distributors in most of the major chains. This is a game changing event for our company. It provides us with both access and premier distribution to the who's who of the grocery industry."

A requirement necessary to become an approved vendor for DPI is to have at least one of their major accounts requesting their products. DC Brands has their initial purchase order from DPI in house and products are ready for delivery for their initial customer/chain. The details and name of the chain will be released in a subsequent release and not until the products are on the customer's shelves in the next few weeks.
