Canon U.S.A. Clean Earth Crew Helps Clean Up Heckscher Park in Huntington

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y.--([ ])--Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, celebrated the 2012 Clean Earth Crew Campaign with an event held on September 15 at Heckscher Park in Huntington, N.Y. A group of 150 Canon volunteers, family members and friends worked together in conjunction with the Town of Huntington to help clean up the park in the heart of Huntington. Clean Earth Crew volunteers helped clear overgrown brush, pick-up trash throughout the property, sand and paint park benches, clean out sand boxes and repaint areas of the park covered in graffiti.

The Clean Earth Crew coming to Huntington marks the first official Canon U.S.A. event to be held in the future home of the company. With the Long Island Fall Festival taking place at Heckscher Park next month, the efforts of the Clean Earth Crew volunteers will be noticed by the thousands of expected attendees.
