Alliance One Announces J. Pieter Sikkel, President, has been Appointed to the Company's Board of Directors
MORRISVILLE, N.C., Nov. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance One International, Inc. (NYSE: [ AOI ]) today announced that J. Pieter Sikkel, President of the Company, has been appointed to the Board of Directors effective November 8, 2011.
Mark W. Kehaya, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, said, "We are pleased with Pieter's appointment to the Company's Board of Directors. He possesses a wealth of industry and Company knowledge that began in 1983 when he joined Standard Commercial Corporation.
