Phoenix Oilfield Hauling Inc. ("Phoenix" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:PHN) is pleased to announce that Darcy Thompson has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Company effective today, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Mr. Thompson has over 30 years experience in the transportation and rigging of overweight and oversized cargo for the oil and gas industry, of which he has spent approximately 14 years in senior management positions. Mr. Thompson was most recently the Vice President, Operations (North America) of Flint Energy Services Ltd. Prior thereto, Mr. Thompson was Vice President, Operations for Mullen Oilfield Hauling.
