Commences Inventory build for its Electron Stimulated Luminescence? R30 Light Bulb

NEW YORK, May 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Vu1 Corporation (OTCBB: VUOC), a developer and manufacturer of mercury-free, energy-efficient general illumination lighting technology, today announced that it has scheduled a Business Update conference call.  Dr. Scott Blackstone, Vu1's President and Chief Executive Officer, will provide an overview of the Company's business, sales and marketing activities, including progress with building its channel partner network.

Effective immediately, the Company will no longer take direct-orders on its website and all web orders received prior to today will be fulfilled.  The Company evaluated its direct-order capability and believes outsourcing this will enable it to begin building sufficient inventory to satisfy commercial and retail customers.  Authorized Electrical Distributors will be listed on Vu1's website as they are added to the company's reseller network.
