BATON ROUGE, LA--(Marketwire - June 8, 2010) - ATWEC Technologies (PINKSHEETS: [ ATWT ]) announced today that the Greater King David Baptist Church and the Greater Mt. Olive Christian Academy along with the Clinton Consulting Services LLC, and ATWEC Technologies (a leader in the childcare safety industry), demonstrated how to prevent back up accidents and accidental child abandonment in vehicles as part of its KidSafe Program kickoff on May 27, 2010 at Greater King David Daycare 911 Lob dell Ave. Baton Rouge, LA 70805

It was last year in July when a three-year-old girl was found dead inside the van at a Baton Rouge day care facility that afternoon having been picked up from home that morning recalls Rep Regina Barrow. State Representative Regina Barrow and various officials were on hand to discuss the merits of the program. Ms. Barrow's legislation was approved by the House Transportation Committee and calls for installing an alarm system that's triggered when the ignition is turned off.

Dr. John E. Montgomery II from the Greater King David Baptist Church and Rev. S .C. Dixon from the Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church both have taken the lead on this issue. "Accidents happen, but the Kiddie System is a precautionary measure to further prevent this particular kind of accident from happening, and such a precaution is warranted when it comes to the safety of our children -- our future! The community of Greater King David Baptist Church is taking the lead to ensure our children are safe from this day forward," said Dr. John E. Montgomery, II.

"I'm in 'full' support of this device! We can never do too much to protect our children," said Rev. S. C. Dixon of Greater Mt. Olive. Christian Academy.

"We want to make the Kiddie Systems™ available and affordable for use throughout Baton Rouge and Louisiana," said Mr. Tyrone Dunn of Clinton Consulting Services. Adding, "Given the increase in the number of accidents we continue to see, if we can save just one child's life, our efforts will be well worth it."
