The ICOP Model 20/20®-W digital [ in-car video ] system serves as the core of the solution, and is integrated with additional technologies, including license plate recognition (LPR). When the EyeNet LPR has a "hit," it triggers the ICOP Model 20/20-W to begin recording audio and video. "The ICOP Model 20/20-W has been a powerful technology to integrate with EyeNet's Arabic number plate recognition. The Saudi Police gave both of our products the ultimate compliment by commenting on its ease of use. Operating as a joint solution in Saudi Arabia, our products help our customers to save lives and secure property," said Tom Tarrach, CEO of EyeNet Enforcement Systems, Inc.

One of the major challenges for the Saudi Ministry of Interior was to identify a solution which operated in the Arabic language. ICOP successfully met this challenge with its ICOP Model 20/20-W and ICOP 20/20® VISION products. ICOP leadership will return to the Region in January 2010 to further opportunities for follow-on orders, for the next phase of deployments.
"We are very encouraged by the positive feedback we have heard regarding the early successes with this project," said Laura Owen, Chief Operating Officer at ICOP. "We are especially pleased with the support of each of our partners to help make this a smooth and successful deployment for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
