TROY, Mich., July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Meritor, Inc. (NYSE: [ MTOR ]) is honored to announce that four of its manufacturing facilities were bestowed the 2011 Quality Achievement Award from PACCAR, Inc. This award is among the industry's most demanding due to the high standards established for supplier parts and component quality. It recognizes suppliers that have achieved a defect rate of 50 parts per million (PPM) or less during 2011.

The Meritor facilities to achieve PACCAR's prestigious "50 PPM" standard are: Forest City, N.C.; Newark, Ohio; Laurinburg, N.C.; and Manning, S.C. At least four Meritor facilities have won the award during each of the past three years: a testament to the ongoing Meritor quality process.
