 TORONTO, May 12 /CNW/ - Luxell Technologies Inc. ("Luxell") (TSX:LUX) and Lux Acquisition Corporation ("LAC") are pleased to announce completion of the previously disclosed amalgamation of Luxell with LAC (the "Amalgamation"). The Amalgamation was approved by the shareholders of Luxell at a special meeting held on April 20, 2009. The amalgamated entity will continue to carry on business under the name "Luxell Technologies Inc." ("Amalgamated Luxell"). It is expected that all common shares of Amalgamated Luxell will no longer be traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange beginning on May 14, 2009. Additionally, Amalgamated Luxell will make an application to the Canadian securities regulatory authorities for an order that Amalgamated Luxell will no longer be a reporting issuer (or equivalent) under applicable Canadian securities laws.
