(NYSE:KAI) announced that it will release its 2008 fourth quarter and full-year results after the market closes on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 and will hold a conference call for investors the next day, Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 11 a.m. eastern time. Kadant currently is in the process of completing an analysis of goodwill impairment associated with its stock preparation product line. Kadant estimates that the pre-tax non-cash goodwill impairment charge in the fourth quarter of 2008 will range from $35 to $42 million.
