ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwire - January 6, 2009) - Action Toys, Inc. (NASDAQ: [ APII ]) announced a realignment of the sales structure today with the appointment of their new mid-Atlantic sales rep High Five Sales & Marketing and a restructuring of their internal sales team.

Action Toys will be represented by High Five Sales & Marketing in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The High Five sales group has over 1,000 active accounts in the territory. A total of 10 representatives will cover the Mid-Atlantic region for the portfolio of Action Toy's brands. High Five was established in 1995, and combines over nearly 100 years experience in the children's product retail market providing a wide opportunity of exposure. Internal changes to the sales team also allow for better product representation with the addition of two dedicated sales specialists that will help to improve customer relations and order response time. The changes are part of the new sales and marketing strategy of Action Toys to help them gain a wider span of distribution of their full line of award winning branded products such as I Dig™, Curiosity Kits™, Play and Store™, Space Voyagers™ and Kidz Workshop™.
