"The average American household has approximately $90 in loose change sitting idle in jars, under sofa cushions, and in dresser drawers," said Alex Camara, senior vice president and general manager of worldwide coin at Coinstar, Inc. "There couldn't be a better time to cash in coin jars to stretch holiday budgets and take advantage of the thousands of items available at Overstock.com."

"We're excited to provide yet another way for our customers to connect to Overstock.com," said Stormy Simon, senior vice president of marketing at Overstock.com. "Coinstar's Coin to Card program provides just that."

To receive free coin counting, consumers simply deposit their coins into the Coinstar Center, the coin is then counted, and the full value is applied to the eCertificate. The eCertificate is dispensed directly from the machine and can be used immediately at Overstock.com.
