The views expressed by the PCT Examiner are not binding on examiners in any patent office. However, they are a guide to whether national patent offices are likely to raise significant objections to granting patents having claims like those pending in the PCT application. The examiner indicated that all three requirements for patentability, namely, novelty, inventive step and industrial applicability, are satisfied by all the claims submitted in World Moto's application.

World Moto is currently filing for patent prosecution in 61 countries throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas. These countries were carefully selected to encompass the vast majority of world's existing moto taxi fleet and most of the world's population.
