Ocean Bio-Chem, Inc. Announces Major TV Promotional Campaign for Its Key Products
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwire - Jan 31, 2013) - Ocean Bio-Chem, Inc. (
"We know that advertising and promotion plays a key role in reaching viewers who might not be aware of the quality and effectiveness of the Star brite® and StarTron® products," said Gregor M. Dornau, Executive Vice President - Sales & Marketing. "We are especially directing our efforts at consumers who own boats, automobiles, trucks, power sports and lawn and garden equipment. In addition, the increased advertising activities will continue to build brand awareness and goodwill of our brands which should ultimately increase sales of our products."
The hosts of the shows "Addictive Fishing" starring Blair Wiggins on Sun Sports, "Ship Shape TV" starring John Greviskis on Fox Sports, "Truck U" and "Two Guys Garage" on the Speed Channel plus George Poveromo's "World of Saltwater Fishing" on NBC Sports will demonstrate the benefits of Star brite® and StarTron® products in special segments on the show, as well as mention Star brite® or StarTron® when appropriate during the show. Additionally, thirty-second commercials will appear on all the programs to promote Star brite® and StarTron® brand and product awareness.
"These shows and their hosts are all considered leaders in their specific genres, plus the shows air on different channels which allow us to reach a broader share of our core customer base," Mr. Dornau said. "We will emphasize the superior qualities of all our Star brite® products that have contributed to the Company's strong market share for 40 years and the effectiveness of StarTron® Enzyme™ Fuel Treatment to combat the ill effects of E-10 fuels."
The Company is also pleased to announce a sponsorship agreement with popular Professional Bass Angler Patrick Pierce, who will represent Star brite® and StarTron® at a number of important bass tournaments during 2013. Patrick will help the Company launch our new "fresh water" marketing campaign. The freshwater market represents a great opportunity to grow sales of all our products to a giant customer base.
