WABCO Receives Nine Top 'Supplier' Awards by Seven of China's Leading Commercial Vehicle Makers; Recognizing Performance Excellence, Innovation and Quality
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM--(Marketwire - Jan. 22, 2013) - WABCO Holdings Inc. (NYSE:WBC), ([ www.wabco-auto.com ]) a global technology leader and tier-one supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, today announced that WABCO has been honored for its superior performance during 2012 with nine top awards from seven of China's leading commercial vehicle manufacturers.
For 2012, WABCO in China received "Supplier Excellence" awards from Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company, Baotou Bei Ben Heavy Duty Truck Company, Beiqi Foton Motor Company and from two engine plants within China National Heavy Duty Truck Group.
WABCO in China also received a "Supplier Excellence" award from Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Company in addition to a second annual "Quality Contribution" award from this customer. Additionally, WABCO received a "Quality Excellence" award by FAW Jiefang Automotive Company, a "Development Contribution" award by Baotou Bei Ben Heavy Duty Truck Company, and a "Top Ten Supplier" award from WuHu CIMC RuiJiang Automobile Company.
