Schneider National Recognizes Wabash National Trailer Centers (WNTC) Dallas Location

Long-Time Customer Names WNTC Maintenance Partner of the Quarter

LAFAYETTE, IN--(Marketwire - Oct 16, 2012) - Wabash National Trailer Centers in Dallas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of [ Wabash National Corporation ] (NYSE: [ WNC ]), was recently named [ Schneider National's ] Maintenance Partner of the Quarter.

In April, an F3 tornado hit the Dallas area tossing 14,000-lbs. truck trailers 300 feet in the air. None of the staff at the Schneider National operating center in Dallas were injured, but approximately 100 trailers were damaged. After the storm cleared, Wabash National Trailer Centers reached out to help its long-time customer assess the damage and make necessary repairs.

In recognition of these efforts to go above and beyond when it was needed most, Schneider named WNTC as its Maintenance Partner of the Quarter.

"Providing safe, reliable service to customers is our top priority," said Rob Reich, vice president of maintenance at Schneider National. "Wabash National Trailer Centers proactively stepped up to help. The day after the tornado touched down, our operation was up and running, delivering customers' freight with the help of WNTC."

For more than 12 years, Schneider National has relied on WNTC to get trailers back on the road with minimal downtime. When the tornado posed a challenge, WNTC repaired numerous trailers so Schneider could put them back in service as quickly as possible. WNTC also helped expedite the insurance documentation process by taking pictures and evaluating damage to the trailers.

"Our success is dependent on our customers' success," said Bob Nida, vice president, Wabash National Trailer Centers. "When our customers are down, we take it seriously and make it a priority to do whatever we can to change that scenario."
