Russell Breweries Inc. Announces Results of 2011 Annual General Meeting

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 5, 2012) - Russell Breweries Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RB), a producer of premium craft beer, announced today that the Company held its Annual and Special General Meeting (AGM) on December 15, 2011 in Vancouver, British Columbia. All the resolutions submitted to the shareholders at the 2011 AGM were duly passed.

The particulars of matters voted upon at the meeting are set out in more detail in the information circular of the Company, dated November 14, 2011. The results of the vote include the re-election of Andrew Harris, Brian Harris, Paul Robertson, Richard Shier, and Robert Murray as directors of the Company.

Manning Elliott LLP was re-appointed as auditors of the Company for the ensuing year and the directors were authorized to fix the remuneration.

The shareholders approved the Company's 2012 Incentive Stock Option Plan pursuant to which the Company has authorized the reservation of up to 10% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company for the grant of options from time to time to directors, officers, employees and consultants of the Company.
