Thereafter, on September 29, 2011, AgFeed issued a press release announcing that its Board had established a special committee to conduct an investigation of acertain of the Companyas Chinese farm assets . . . , as well as the validity and collectability of certain of the Companyas accounts receivables relating to its animal nutrition business in China.a Following this news, AgFeed stock fell to a close of $0.52 per share on September 30, 2011, a one-day decline of 20%. AgFeedas stock price has yet to recover and currently trades at approximately $0.53 per share.
