STAMFORD, Conn.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ Pitney Bowes Inc. ] (NYSE:PBI) today announced that the company will be recognized as Corporate Exemplar by the [ Educational Equity Center at the Academy for Educational Development ] (AED). The recognition ceremony will take place at AED's Equity Awards Dinner at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City on November 20. The Equity Awards Dinner aims to celebrate and honor the work of individuals and organizations that have helped to advance equity and social justice.

Pitney Bowes is being honored "for its longstanding and broad range of philanthropic efforts, and most particularly for its support of the [ Pitney Bowes Literacy and Education Fund ] Children's Science Gallery in Connecticut, robotic science program at the high school level, and programs to serve a diverse population of women, people with disabilities, and people of color," said Denise Borders, AED senior vice president of US education and workforce development, in a letter to Pitney Bowes.
