MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa - A house fire in Mitchellville displaced a family Wednesday morning, but thankfully, all residents escaped unharmed thanks to a swift response from local fire crews. The incident, which occurred around 8:15 a.m. in the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue SE, has prompted an investigation into the cause and has already begun to reveal the community spirit prevalent in the small Iowa town.
