African Copper Plc: Further Cautionary Statement

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Oct. 3, 2012) - Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcements released on 28 February 2012, 16 April 2012, 30 May 2012, 10 July 2012 and 22 August 2012 wherein it was advised that African Copper Plc ("African Copper" or "the Company") (AIM:ACU)(BOTSWANA:AFRICAN COPPER) had been notified by its 84.9% shareholder, ZCI Limited ("ZCI"), that it has initiated a process intended to realise value from its investment in African Copper, which process may result in the disposal of ZCI's interest in African Copper.

Further to the aforementioned announcements, shareholders are advised that the process is ongoing and may have a material effect on the price of the Company's securities.
