Chairman of Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. Suffers Mild Stroke
JACKSON, Miss.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ: CALM) announced today thatFred Adams, Jr., chairman of the board of directors of Cal-Maine Foods, Inc., suffered a mild stroke while attending the International Egg Commission meeting in National Harbor, Maryland. Adams, the founder of the Company, had previously served as chief executive officer. Dolph Baker was named his successor as president and chief executive officer on October 15, 2010, and has overall executive responsibility for the management of the Company.
