Today's announcement marks the seventh award for design and innovation bestowed upon Cobra iRadar since its market introduction in the fourth quarter of 2010.

Cobra received the Silver IDEA award in the highly competitive "Communication Tools" category, which included entrants from some of the world's largest and most design-forward companies in areas such as telephones, VoIP phones, cell phones, smartphones, PDAs, navigation devices, headsets, accessories, and more. The IDEA 2011 judging was based on a diverse set of industrial design excellence criteria, including innovation, benefit to the user, social responsibility, client benefit, visual appeal, design aesthetic, and more.
