This action follows a preliminary evaluation started in November 2023, prompted by 46 complaints from owners of 2020-2022 Honda Pilot, Accord, and CR-V models. The NHTSA's Office of Defects Investigation noted that these incidents often occurred at low speeds, leading to sudden stops that could increase the risk of rear-end collisions.
