Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Platforms, sold approximately $39.7 million worth of Meta stock on November 2, 2023, as part of a pre-arranged trading plan. This sale was executed under a 10b5-1 plan, which allows company insiders to sell shares at predetermined times to avoid accusations of insider trading. The shares were sold at prices ranging from $310.60 to $316.75 each. Despite this sale, Zuckerberg still holds a significant amount of Meta stock, with his remaining shares valued at over $100 billion. This transaction follows a trend where Zuckerberg has been selling off portions of his holdings, having sold about $135 million worth of stock in the previous month.
