Many of the guys I grew up with - and I'm speaking mostly about males here - wanted something tangible beyond a house and mortgage for the hard work they did in those grimy places. They wanted a powerful motorcycle, a cool car, and a little cabin in the mountains. Many, though, wanted a boat.
